- Disinfect sink and surfaces - the day before your guests arrive, give all surfaces a thorough clean and disinfect (don’t forget kitchen handles, the microwave, stovetop, sink, and the corners of your countertops).
- Self-clean the oven - If your oven door and insides are grimy, set the self-cleaning function to give it a good scrub. Just make sure to remove any dishes or forgotten food before you do.
- Check oven temperatures - Buy a small oven thermometer and check your oven temperature to ensure even heating. This will help you avoid under or overcooking your dinner.
